The COVID-10 pandemic has changed the way we do just about everything, but of the biggest adjustments has been travel.

If you like to do things like kayaking, canoeing and swimming in blue waters, you’ll love this.

There are some international destinations that you may want to visit, but are unable to because they are not open to Americans right now. But thankfully, none of the countries are on our list are like that. So that makes them the best places to go right now!

In this article, we’re going to look at five beautiful islands that Americans can visit during the pandemic.

As always, you should do what you can to remain as safe as possible. That means:

  • Wash your hands frequently
  • Wear a mask in public
  • Stay at least 6 feet away from others in public

Belize

Belize does not have quarantine requirements but testing is mandatory upon arrival.

British Virgin Islands

In the British Virgin islands, mandatory testing is in place. Quarantine rules are enforced, but there are exemptions for vaccinated travelers, according to the BVI Gateway website.

Costa Rica

Costa Rica is open to all travelers and has not implemented any testing or quarantine rules. You must fill out a Health pass form to enter the country.

Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic in the Carribbean is open to all travelers and has not implemented any testing or quarantine rules. You do however have to complete an entry and exit form.

Jamaica

The island of Jamaica has set up strict testing and quarantine standards for U.S. visitors. You must also fill out an Online travel authorization form to visit the Caribbean nation.

Traveling abroad can be a refreshing experience, but only if you do is safefly. Remember to take all safety precautions and be aware of your surroundings at all times.

Remember to visit the State Department website often for specific questions and answers. Also, keep in mind that getting a passport may be an issue for those who like to wait until the last minute.
