The news comes just days after Van Lith has manhandled by college basketball leading scorer Caitlin Clark, who torched her for 41 points in the Elite 8 matchup in the NCAA tournament.
In her one season at LSU, Van Lith averaged 11.6 points and 2.3 assists per game.
Despite her struggles during March Madness, Van Lith is still regarded a standout basketball player who gained prominence for her exceptional skills on the court.
She initially played for the Louisville Cardinals, where she quickly made a name for herself as one of the top players in the country.
