New Orleans Fashion Week: What You Need To Know

New Orleans Fashion Week is upon us just in time to pull out those fall garments and slay! Here’s everything you need to know about New Orleans Fashion Week and how you can attend.

New Orleans Fashion Week: Everything You Need To Know

As always, Tracee Dundas, as founder and creative director of New Orleans Fashion Week, is leading the way.

New Orleans Fashion Week is set for a three-day extravaganza focused on the community and its fashions.

“New Orleans Fashion Week is the catalyst and driving force that unites fashion professionals in a series of high-end runway shows, presentations, pop-up boutiques, networking opportunities and social experiences,” it says on the event invitation.

  • WARdrobe: Fashion on the Rations — 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021 at the WWII Museum, 945 Magazine St, New Orleans, LA 70130
  • Giving Back with Style — 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, 2021 at the Diamonds Direct, Metairie, 3230 Severn Ave, Metairie, LA 70002
  • Taste of Fashion Week – November — Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021 at Gallier Hall, 545 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70130

Dondas says the aim of the event is to reminds people of New Orleans’ creativity.

“Just like other industries have experienced a loss due to COVID-19, the same is true for our local designers. Now more than ever it is important for our fashion industry to come together to remind everyone of the abundant creative spirit of New Orleans!” Dundas says in a written statement. “Taste of Fashion Week aims to usher in not only a fashion renaissance, but also a renaissance of the artistic culture of the city of New Orleans as a whole.”

Final Word

New Orleans is not only a world-class city, but a cultural centerpiece of the Southeast, from restaurants to its parks, the city stands out as a place to visit and live.
