A new restaurant and craft brewery is set to open in New Orleans this fall, Nolafi.com has learned.
The brewery — Saint X — and a barbecue eatery called Devil Moon BBQ will share a kitchen in the Odeon South Market building. The businesses are the handiwork of Shannon Bingham, who also runs the kitchen at St. Roch Market food, his pop-ups Buttermilk and Emmylou’s BBQ.
While Saint X and Devil Moon BBQ plan for their brick-and-mortar debuts, on the same day as the New Orleans Saints’ next two home games, Devil Moon BBQ latter is hosting a set of pop-ups in the parking lot next to the property. “We are officially opening in the fall” says Bingham, “but we didn’t want to miss the opportunities to celebrate and introduce our barbecue with fans and the local community.
