SafeWise recently released their annual Safest Cities report for the state of Louisiana. You might be surprised at the list based on what you know about where you live.
The report says that crime overall has plummeted in Louisiana for 2021, but when it comes to gun violence, the numbers have actually doubled. According to SafeWise, here is the top 10:

SafeWise says it arrived at the data by calculating crime rates for every Louisiana city that met its population threshold, based on the state’s median population.
